Positive: Maddie's welcome was excellent and we felt in good hands.Breakfast food was excellent. Staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you, Maddie and Jeremy were standouts during our stay, also Darcy. Sam the chef also a standout . As we were in a party of six, it seemed more difficult for the team to manage our dinner orders, so we assumed it would be a better place to stay for couples. We definitely all enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. It is the most beautiful place, rooms were so lovely, the suites were well presented and most luxurious. The Louise tea at night was a nice touch and enjoyed very much. Thank you Maddie for the great tour of "The Louise" art!

Negative: Service, on occasion at breakfast and once at dinner, was a little slow, particularly after ordering coffee, orders etc. A couple of the staff actually forgot about my second cup of coffee so I just went back to my room and made one. That was a little disappointing. Dinner was good, but I guess as we were in a group, my order came out and wasn't what I ordered one night.That happened for 2 of the courses. The team should probably write down the orders maybe?

Positive: Our stay at The Louise was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the venue’s modern design and the beautiful gallery of artwork that gives the property such a distinctive and creative feel. We stayed in one of the larger suites, which was incredibly spacious and well-appointed. The private lounge opened onto a secluded patio overlooking the vineyards — the perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine and take in the Barossa landscape. Service throughout our stay was faultless. The staff made us feel completely at ease and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of. The all-inclusive nature of the resort is another standout — generous full breakfasts, an in-room minibar complete with pottles of local wine and port, plus cheese, crackers, and snacks to graze on through the day. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into creating a truly indulgent and seamless guest experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the degustation dinners at Appellation. Each night offered a different menu showcasing incredible local produce, paired beautifully with matching wines — though you could also choose your own bottle from the extensive wine list. Every dish was perfectly executed and beautifully presented. A special mention goes to the Speakeasy Room, where we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and the chance to mix our own cocktails from the open bar — a fun and memorable touch.

Positive: Yes it's expensive, but if you can afford, its great value for money, six course meals, every night, obviously small portions, but each had its own taste with 6 individual local wines to match, each course. Young local knowable staff, casual kinda smart outfits, but exceptionally friendly....fabulous paddock/grape vine views with hills in the distance, if the six course meal is too much you can have a 3 course simple menue and a free bottle of wine to your taste, the great feature is they open your fridge and wine, beer, proceco, soft drinks,and it's all free and refreshed every day.....saved the best to last...on a cool night they tuck a hot water bottle in your bed....plus a fresh tea for the morning or night ...Breakfast is pretty average but it's all about the dinners, staff, accomodation, and location.....it's definitely expensive, but great value for the money. ....pay once and the house recommended excellent wines, 6 course meals, breakfast are all included in the price....there is no "we will settle the bill", just pack your bags and go home....small kinda lap pool, washing machine drier available free...exercise room about 5 /6 expensive machines...free
